Holocaust Carvings was looking for a complete redesign of their site that was out of date and hard to manage. Any updates to the site required editing pages manually and management of the ever-growing number of carvings, exhibits and news items was difficult. With the lack of new information, visitor traffic statistics were slowing.

Solution:
SilkSystem created an easy to use carving, exhibit, news, and overall content management system that acts as not only the primary method for managing the collection, numbering greater than 600 but also dynamically feeds the public website. The artist can easily log in to a private administration area, update news, exhibits, carvings and generally manage the site without any other help.

Visitors can now view past, present and future exhibitions including reviewing the carvings that are on display in a carving photo album. As well, detailed news items and artist videos abound to provide a full immersion experience into the project of the artist.

SilkSystem employed various innovative SEO methods and created marketing linkages that resulted in a 534% increase in traffic in the first month after launch. With features including a flash intro swish, image rollovers, email contact us form, photo albums, and videos, the site is both engaging and educational.

Today, I showed the new website to numerous people ... They all loved it! They especially liked the flash show on the homepage. Some of today's comments were: Wow!, Very Fancy, Lots of Information, and Easy to Use. …I want you to know that I very much appreciate the effort that you have put into this project.
