SilkSystem Solutions was founded in 2000 by a group of Internet and IT
professionals that share a common vision to provide businesses
with quality, affordable, and easy to use browser based applications.
At SilkSystem we believe that the wide spread acceptance of the Internet
and Web Browser technology paints a perfect picture of the IT and Information
Management landscape of the future. We aim to create browser based products
that look and feel like standard desktop applications. Even though
the Internet has been around for many years there is still apprehension about
the usability of the web. Much of the apprehension is based on the fact that there is a learning
curve in the transition from a standard desktop application to one that is web based. We strive to eliminate that
learning curve by creating intuitive browser based applications and leveraging best-of-bread technologies.

Prior to founding SilkSystem Chuck held engineering and business management
positions at various start up companies. Chuck led web CRM projects at Priceline.com,
Datek, American Airlines along with training big 5 consultant teams in web application
design, development, and deployment.

|
Alrington has over 15 years experience writing and managing web-based and client/server
applicatons in a commercial software development environment. Alrington has provided leadership
and consulting services to various commerical companies including, KANA, GE Capital, and Priceline.com.
